Kittay House Tenant and WWII Vet Marches with Occupy Wall Street
Ninety-year-old World War II veteran Murray Gittelman, a tenant at Kittay House Senior Apartments was featured in The New York Daily News as a participant in Occupy Wall Street.
Gittelman, who marched in 1963 in support of civil rights, is a longtime union man who supported numerous causes throughout his life.
So despite a bad heart and the need for a cane, he made his way from Kittay House Senior Apartments to Occupy Wall Street, carrying a sign that said “World War II Vet and Still Occupying.”
